Why you should lithium is its much lighter than lead batteries. Its that argument along which I myself can't deny. A medium size lead battery weighs 70 pounds and if you have two of them, it'll be 140 pounds total. In addition, I'm 180 pounds which can total up to 230 pounds of weight that the standard factory 12v motors have to carry. With that much weight, the plastic gearboxes lifespan is shorten faster.
